I Gave up after the Hex key slipped right off the second one.

Easiest way is if you have a air compressor is to use a impact gun and correct socket. If not use a long scred driver or pry bar and slide it between the yoke to keep the drive shaft from moving then brake the bolts loose. Turn the driveshaft so the bolt is in the easiest place to get at it. Repeat this process for the rest. Make sure you have the right socket.

i used two 3" extensions. with an angle joint in the middle. This allowed me to have a straight shot at the bolt with the 8mm hex key (ap2) then angle it slightly away so i have clearance for the breaker bar i was using to loosen them.

I found it VERY easy doing it this way. (of course you will need to rotate the driveshaft every few bolts to get easier access, using the parking break to hold the driveshaft firmly in place)

If all you have is a hex key, try cutting the angle off the key and then sticking the straight part of the key into the appropriately sized standard socket. Then you can put the socket+key on a ratchet.

What we did was use the hex key with a wrench on the end for leverage, and snap on a good pair of vise grips to each bolt the best we could. Every one came out pretty easy, but thats with two people.

damn i wish i had the photos of how i removed mine. It was really the easiest thing ever. Aside from having to jump out from under the car to pull/release the ebrake to rotate the driveshaft.

I bought a set of Hex/Allen drivers which can be used with any standard socket wrench. I personally used my 35" long torque wrench as a breaker bar to remove loosen the hex bolts.

I must say Its VERY important your hex sockets go smoothly and STRAIGHT into the hex bolts. IF they dont go in deep enough or if your angle is off you'll likely strip them.

I think the amount of effort required depends on how tight that sucker's on there. I agree with GrandMaster.. allen keys will most likely result in stripping. Just use a hex/allen driver socket that fits the ratchet.
