Default removing bellhousing help please!

feel like Im asking a stupid question-but my bellhousings got the better of me.
wondered if Ive missed something, cos it isnt coming off.well it comes off about a cm and then thats it...
Ive taken off all the bellhousing bolts.removed the clutch arm thingy, and the input shaft support, so whilst looking inside the bellhousing theyres nothing really to see, (other than a little blanking plate in the top corner, but that does lead anywhere).
when I try to pull the bellhousing off i get roughly a cm and thats it. feel like im forgetting something and when I try to pry it off, the resistance gets me worried that Im going to damage something inside the box... did I forget anything?what about the gear lever shaft?something else?
thought it was a case of bolts off, and yank it off!
would really appreciate it if someone could help me.

many thanks

You have to remove EVERYTHING starting at the rear. The bell housing is part of the transmission case. It is not a separate part.

Theres alot to worry about taking it apart that far. As stated, the trans needs to be completely gutted.

Why are you separating...shipping? broken bell housing?
