Default removing engine from under the car?

I have the head completely off. I have everything erady to go and I looked at this post https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...0&#entry3197129 and have asked questions about the removal but it seems if I am to lower the subframe completely the a-arms are still connected and the wheels would be coming down or at least there would be stress on them. What all is needed to remove the engine from below?? Thanks in advance.

Look in the DIY FAQ...there is a link with instructions that might help.

Nothing in there about remving it from the bottom. Even the DIY from the top kinda sucks. I have the helm but don't wantto go that route.

I have done this more times then pulling it from the top. It is faster to do it this way. You can completely build the motor out of the car, and list push it up and in the car.

It can be done, but it's much easier if you have a lift.

If I was working on jackstands I'd pull it out from the top.

Brilliant!!! Would a 1-ton hoist work for this? Seems like the front end, sans motor, would be nice and light considering the rear wheels are on the ground...
