Default Replacing 06+ 05- AP2 Seats

Hey guys,

Long story short, sunny weather caused my seats to dry up and rip. I am looking for a replacement seats to go with it and noticed most of them are pre 06 AP2 seats. (I own a MY08) Does anyone know what is needed to fit them and if there are any compatibility issues?

I just know my passenger has the seat belt bolt mounting on the seat directly and this might be different in other models.

Thanks,

Don

No need to replace the whole seat.

I have these and they are fantastic. Fit is like factory.

Clazzios don't fit like factory. I've seen them and they fit horrible. Just looking for a factory replacement atm.

Thanks

I guess it was the installer not the product. Like I said mine are perfect. Other people I have talked to share the same opinion. You obviously have to remove the seat to install them. Just throwing it out there to save you some cash. Good luck with the hunt!

Passenger seat has different sensors on 06+. You can't use an earlier passenger seat.

I did a bit of research on this and it seems like you just need to replace the rails and everything will port over. I just wanted to double check from people that have done it.

Yeah you just need to swap the passenger rail. I've done it a few times. It's very easy.

Ran into the same issue today. Swapped my 05 seats for an 06, driver side was fine but passenger side mounting points wasn't on point. I'll swap the rails

You must retain the original rails for passenger side. The seat components themselves will swap onto any year rail.
