Well, if you're not the original owner, this is entirely possible. People have been known to shave the trunk key hole. Or maybe you've got the keyhole plug installed?

I know it's a little late for you as you already have a new battery, but I could not be happier with my Optima Yellow top. I noticed marked improvement starting the car and the idle seemed to be better post-install.

I was also noticeing that at idle, my parking lights would flickering in sync with my sub. Post-yellow top, no more flicker.

 

nope, i'm just an idiot. keyhole was there. whatever, not a problem.

i gotta do something about the door handle problem i just posted about though, seems like i just have one thing to take care of after another with this car.
