trip i dont think the evo 4 or 6 is a good option as we cant readily get those diffs over in america. also the mitsubishi drive train components aren't very strong and have problem with holding the power the evo makes. Also the AYC is a system that really doesn't apply to the s2000, it is an active yaw control system meant for cars with all wheel drive
It was just an opinion.

Am not from america so i woundn't know the availability. Evo is a AWD car but the AYC on the evo 4-6 control the torque between the left and right rear wheels only..Unlike the EVO 7 -8 which has an advanced AYC called Super AYC which also controls torque betweeen the front and rear wheels. I dont see why the AYC system from an EVO4/6 does not apply for a RWD car. Hope you are not mixing up the normail AYC(rear only) to the Super AYC (front and rear).

I know many Evo 4/5 owners with $$$ tuned engines (approx 1.5bar boost) launching at the drag strip all with standard diffs. Never had problems so far.

Well as i said..Just an opinion..thats all

Its not a straight forward diff like just replacing the diff. there are many other factors one should consider. It works using the parameters of many sensors on the car such as:
Throttle position sensor
Wheel speed sensor
Longitudinal G sensor
Lateral G sensor

There is a reservoir oil tank at the back of the car and AYC is controlled from a special ECU.
