Resealing Headlights
Decided to open up my headlight housings again to paint all the chrome parts black. i resealed it with hi-temp silicon like i did the first time i took the orange diffuser out. But, this time the suckers fogged up! i think the housing got more deformed than they were the first time. any suggestions as to what the heck i can do to get the fog out and to seal them better so it wont happen again.
BTW the black housing looks awsome! i will post pics as soon as i get everything fixed.

Hey DJ long time no chat....as we have no chat:
Before you tear em out again I'd try this. Look at the moisture (i.e. condensation in the lens). Go into the wheel well and remove the turn signal. Turn on the HID's for about an hour (let car idle) and let the moisture bake out. Re check the moisture level....repeat as necessary......I used a hair dryer to add circulation in the area. It is a bitch to remove the bumper etc. Most likely you captured some moiture off the wet towel used to heat the lamp.
