Default Resetting Suspension

Just wondering if I could get some advice...........

I recently purchased an 00' from a Honda dealer. The previous owner had the car lowered, dealership decided to take the lower springs off and place the stock springs back on.......which is all fine but the front end of the car is higher than stock and the rear looks lower than stock, altering the stance of the car.

I have spoken to the Honda mechanics and they say it is all normal, I also went to a large suspension chain and they said all of the components were stock.

I have looked over the technical stuff in this forum but it is well over my head.

Could anyone explain what may have been changed so I can suggest to the mechanics what may need to be changed/adjusted??

Thanks for the use of your expertise....

Are you sure they didn't swap the front/rear springs?

I believe the rear dampeners are shorter than the front dampeners.

Is it possible that any other part of the suspension set up would be changed when lowering the car??

If the previous owner only changed the springs, and the dealer put stock ones back on, the only thing that would need to be changed is alignment. The car should be at a stock stance regardless if the alignment was performed or not. I

Did they load the suspension when they swap out the lowering springs?
I have had lots of ppl not load there suspension and the front sits higher than the rear. This is becuase you have to remove the upper control arm in order to get the front shock out.

Put the car on jack stands, pull the wheels, then loosen the front upper arm where it mounts to the body/frame,
put a jack under the front lower control arm and jack it up until the car almost lifts off the jack stands then tighten the upper arm mounting bolts. Your done. Hope this helps.

Hondamanwill, thats the cure I bet. Thanks........now I can tell those world class Honda mechanics how to fix it, just before I thank them for signing off on a 3 year warranty without even checking the oil.......

Will let you know the outcome.
