Question Retrofitting OBDII port into s2000

Can it be done? A retrofit of the OBDII port into s2000?

The Australian model's don't have OBDII ports but i want to plug one in so i can hook up the scangauge to keep an eye on things.

Where does the US s2k's OBD wires lead to?

def sure, looked under passenger footwell. i can show you a photo if you like. Searched the whole forums - other aust owners don't have them. Apparently they're to do with F20C1 (aus) or F20C2 (us) or something..

It will take two parts to install ODBII. First you need a wiring harness. (I have a spare if you are interested). I would guess that you need a new ECU.

To install, you will need to remove the dash. That harness is behind the dash and tied to a number of other things back there too.

so how many connectors does the harness have? i may be interested in that spare if i figured out the processes of installing it successfullly.

from the pics ive seen thru the forums, our ecu looks similar to yours, with 3 plugs going in. i read there's prob only a couple of wires diff....
