Rev limiter?

You must have 3 bars of temp on your gauge, or else the limiter is in effect. I have not yet found this in the manual and nobody told me about it. I usually let the car warm up well, and on the day this happened to me it was cooler out so it obviously took longer to warm up . . .

Thanks, cmnsnse. Now for the second part of my question. Some folks here believe their VTEC system no longer works and the second cam profile doesn't kick in. I think people think that this has to do with synthetic oil or the map sensor or a mechanical problem or an ECU problem.....whatever.
Supposing you had deactivated the VTEC switchover, how high could you rev, 7,500? What do you think?
