i have realized that sometimes my reverse is hard to engage. do some of you have the same problem? my car has only 16k miles and is MY03. i bought it used, but i think its to soon to have the reverse gear to be having problems.

Try putting it in first, or first then roll up a little, then try selecting reverse, works for me everytime.

Put it in any forward gear to stop the tranny from spinning, then go for reverse. 1st gear might also be difficult as it suffers from the same "disease" as reverse. I generally just go to 4th because it's handy from neutral.
ps. If the car is still rolling, it can be even more difficult to engage reverse. It's best that the car is fully stopped.

that reverse difficulty has been honda signature since the 70s.
nothing you can do to eliminate it, just put it in a different gear before throwing it in reverse. reverse gear is cut different than the forward gears
