Default ricks clear corners

I am contemplating weather or not to do it myself or just pay the extra to have rick do it for me. I just wanted to know from others if it was worth doing yourself or just have the shop install it for you?

thenks in advance.

Michael

Besides the fact that I almost burned my house down, it was a piece of cake

I'd also like to know. I really don't want condensation in my headlights...

If you are a careful person.. its really not hard at all..

I've done it about 8 times total now for diff people.. and as long as you follow Rick's instructions you can't mess it up.

Everyone's main worry is melting the headlight in the oven.. however that headlight can handle pretty damn hot temps (obviously)... so thats pretty hard to do unless you actually had the light leaned against the wall.

We did a set this past summer. Not a big deal. Just follow the directions and have a little patience. It also helps to have someone else there to help.

yeah its not bad...i did mine in about 2 hours...mostly waiting in front of the oven watching my headlights...toughest part, at least for me, was seperating the headlights apart cus the glue wasnt melting enough...the only problem i had one i think i kind of burn part of the black piece cus i have a small "melt" mark on both sides...oh well

if you're worried about condensation, just apply A LOT of glue and wipe it down so it looks clean...
