It is not that nad. I have done a few sets. Just plan on having burnt finger tips for a week after prying the housing apart. I would use a heat gun instead of putting them in the oven. It is easier to work with when the whole housing is hot.

There are several opportunities to mess things up and cause damage, I don't recommend it unless you are mechanically inclined. If not, you're better off paying someone with experience to do it.

I used two heat guns on mine. It's not a one man job because holding the headlight and separating the two halves is tough to do.

I can do a set in 1 hour. That assumes the headlights are in my hands. It is not that hard at all. The heat gun would be harder then the oven IMHO. Trying to get the whole seal hot would be the issue, that is why the oven works as wel as it does. Just based on the number of diffusers we have sold over the past three years. There is a few hundred customers that have installed them by them selfs. So just take your time.

I did it recently. Very easy. Just remember that to make sure you don't leave any fingerprints, etc on the inside of then housing.

IN fact, don't even touch the inside of the lens. Finger prints is one problem, and it gets worst if yu try to clean them off. Even a microfiber towel scratches the inside. Don't learn this the hard way.
