Default Ricks Shift Knob Doesn't fit...

I just got in my Ricks shift knob and to say the least it doesn't fit. It doesn't go down enough for me to even screw it on. Am I missing something or... I have an 07 Laguna Blue.

Congrats on the knob! Were you able to get the titanium version?

I recieved the Ti knob the other day and have found that a few drops of blue thread lock is more than enough to keep the shift knob in place. I'm looking for a strap wrench to get my Al voodoo knob off... I'm only going to use 1 drop this time.

I figured out how to remove old shift knob - I used latex gloves and the extra grip allowed me to break the thread lock. Oh happy days.....

Don't feel bad, I had a similar experience when I first tried to use a condom.
