Default Ride Height Adjustments

I just installed my Bilstein PSS coilovers and I'm having a ride height adjustment problem. The ride height of the front passenger and drivers side are the same, but I had to lower the driver's side quite a bit more to achieve the same ride height. The passenger side is probably about 2/3 of the way down, where the driver's side is almost all the way at the bottom of the adjustment range.

Is this a problem with the springs not having settled yet, or could the spring have twisted in the perch during the install and not be seated correctly? Both rubber donuts to the upper shock mounts are in place, both assemblies were installed and torqued the same way. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

the springs needs to be settle in, try not dump your car all the way down(esp. true if you don't have a strut lenght adjustable coilover)

i have no experience with the brand you have but i do believe most coilover are required to pre-load when you first install them.

ive got exactly the same thing...but my passenger is actually a bit higher than driver side...so i called bilstein bout this issue and they told me to go to some flat surface and adjust the ride height(higher/lower) to compensate each corner. Bilstein said, its not going to affect the ride quality of the car even when all the adjusment is done. This coilover is designed like that...As long as you are not off by more than 1/2 inch, i wouldnt worry bout it...anyways, i adjusted mine a little bit to even out on all sides..Even after all the adjustment i did on all corners, i didnt even feel the difference. It feels the same just like day 1

Thanks. I'm going to let it settle for a little bit and then take off the front suspension and see whats up. I'm not trying to slam it to the ground, but I would like about a one finger gap between the fender and the tire. The front left is adjusted almost all the way down and barely looks dropped. I'd like to go another half inch...I have about a two finger gap right now. Thanks for the replies.
