Default Right Hand Drive Conversion

I found a company that can get me all of the needed parts to convert my S into RHD. I am wondering if anyone has attempted this yet, or know any problems I may encounter while doing this. My goal is pretty much getting the car to a point where everyone wants to check it out, as I would like to enter it in a line of shows. If anyone knows of any specialized shops that could put the car together, I'd like to hear them as well, I know of one shop that does good work, but I would just like to have some options.

Call me crazy, but wouldnt it be more cost effective to just import a car in from Australia, NZ, or Japan? Those parts separate HAVE to be expensive.

All of the parts cost $1500 actually... It's the labor I am worried about.

Its not worth it IMO. Major cutting and rewelding involved, and god forbid you break one of the RHD parts, like the steering rack. You have to basically cut the firewall out and reweld the RHD drive one in, so the only way to really pull this off is to buy a front clip. As mentioned before, if you want RHD, your better off buying one thats RHD.

It is possible, though.

IMHO, it seems like it would be more trouble than it is worth. The brake master cylinder and clutch fluid resevoir would be moved to the other side of the engine bay, you would obviously have to move the gas, brake and clutch pedal to the other side, also the door panels would have to be swapped out unless you want your passenger to have control of both power windows and your mirror adjustments, the steering rack would need to be changed, a new dashboard also your keyless entry - think about it, you would have to push the "unlock" button twice to unlock your new drivers door! If you can do it and address all the issues, Iam sure I didn't cover them all, let us know. Iam curious to see how it comes out.

I've not done it myself, so I can't give any advice, but I say: go for it. I've seen this done a couple time. My favorite was a three-rotor RHD rx7. good stuff. I think it will be expensive and time consuming. Good luck! Post pics when your done!

All these people that take JDM to the next level

I don't understand it; it serves no purpose and will make driving more difficult for you.
