Default Is this a rod knock starting?

Alright so I have the ticking at start up probly cuz im about ready for an oil change.but once that stops I have a very quiet knocking noise. Its not constint. It will go knock, knock,......,......,.......,......,knock,.....,... ..,......knock,knock, knock,........,.....,knock,.......,......,knock

Not in any specific order. Does it all the time. Like I said its very quiet.unless your listening for it you probly wouldn't notice it over normal valve noise. Any ideas on what this could be?

Sounds like normal cold piston slap. Does it go away when hot?

Hey Billman, could you elaborate a little on piston slap? I don't have his symptoms in my s2000 but I do in my 89 prelude. The motor is just slightly noisier the moment it turns on but it seems as if it waits for the oil pressure to build up before it sounds fine, usually taking like 15 seconds or less. So I'm just wondering... what exactly is piston slap?
