After 5 hours of diagnosis. Clearing Fault codes and checking gas emmisions. I have found out there is a problem common to most rough idle S2000's---- INJECTORS. It does not show up on Gas emissions but show on the HDS reader as Cylinder Misfire Bit Codes. I also noticed that the Injector duration came down from 2.9 to 2.1 ms. The injectors cause bore washing and lower the compression on the engine which is critical to the running of the V Tec hence the rough idle. They cost about

 

Anybody had this problem??.

 

I take that as a no then!

 

What were your readings on the gas emissions?

It was the same as other S2000's. The catalytic converter seems to cope with the extra fuel at first but will go bang. I found in the service history of this car it had a cat.con at 20k
