The only proper way to clean the IAC is to separate the electrical motor from the valve. You will need a 5 point torx called a pentacle bit to do this. Do the job over a clean workbench, as there are special tiny spacers BETWEEN the valve and the motor.

Once apart, you'll find the rotary shaft in the valve part. This part must spin 360 degrees with ease. If not, the electromagnetic motor cannot pull it around and control the idle speed.

I would also make sure the MAP sensor o-ring is perfectly intact.

Bought the iacv and map from honda, i also lubricated the new o ring with oil, after all my frustration in trying to figure the problem out ive noticed the car is stalling less, could it be that the ecu is relearning my driving habbits?

What is ur map, iac, and tps voltage? If map is over 1.0 v not good, throttle have to be close. Without any data ur just guessing and throwing parts in the car.

Data list on the obd computer. I don't know if the aftermarket computer can read the data.

I have a video of my idle

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_BCG...e_gdata_player

It does this every now and then

I also noticed its loosing a lot of coolant, i fill the resivoir tank every 2-3 days

When i depress the clutch it sometimes raises the idle to 1500 then drops back to 900-1000rpm

My car has been fixed for the past 2 days now, all i did was an idle relearn proceedure, i disconected the negative cable from the battery, car was cold when i did this, i let it sit for about 10-15 min so the computer would reset, then i connected it back and started the car and let it warm up till the fans turned on, with no load on (ac,headlights, ect.), i let it sit there after the fans came on for a good 10-15 min, then i took it for a drive and i drove the car without coasting and it hasnt stalled since and idle stays constant hope this helps anyone
