super street did a test on various radiator additive such as redline water wetter, royal purple ice, hyperlube few months back on one of their issue. the redline water wetter with a pure distilled water out perform (having the coolest temp out all the combo that they did) the other competitor. they tried water plus coolant plus additive such as royal purple, redline, and hyperlube. out of all the combo that they did. running a distilled water plus redline water weter is the best. they said running a coolant in a car isnt as good as many thinks because once its boils up it will create bubbles that blocks the air from cooling the radiator thus affecting the temp of the engine.

but this combo (water and redline water wetter isnt recomended for very cold environment).
hope this helps
