I have the 03 ecu for MY00 and did notice more drivability ( car use to somewhat bog at low rpm) I think the 00-01 ecus had a more rich tune compared to the 02-03 so i have the VAFC2 for WOT tuning. IF all your worried about is WOT and peak hp numbers then a vafc would be the way to go.

your 00 certainly runs a little richer (or should) than an 02-03. If you want to swap the ECU, the latter years should give a couple hp gain.

dood if the codes come back there's something wrong with your car...you get a new ecu it'll prob throw the same codes...
