Default running no exhaust after header

i remember with my v34 wrx i used to take the exhaust off at the axle for fun every now and then. sounded mean. was wondering if i was to do it on my stock s2000 after the header for a day or so for fun would the new air flow kinda mess with itor hurt it at all?
cheers

Check my my "My videos" link and go to stock vs invidia comparison video. I show a quick clip at the end with no exhaust on.

Its sounds like a civic without an exhaust basically and yes you will loose hp and torque.

not gonna do any good at all in an NA application.
You will lose serious tq. and sound like an 89 civic with a 5 inch fart can.

If you take it off after the header you will get a CEL because your secondary o2 sensor in the cat will be floating in the air. If you take it off after the cat you will be fine (besides the noise).

I did this once but only because I wanted to change the oil and didn't have gaskets to put the exhaust back on yet. I was surprised just how loud this car is. I've been around many and ran some V8's open header and they were not as loud.
