The temp for both days was in the 90's. The tires have not been touched since the day I bought my car(I couldn't even tell ya what the psi is in them right now, I've neve checked). I will be installing the VAFC tomorrow and I plan on hitting the dyno Thursday for some runs. I will post the numbers as soon as I get them.

NA engines need backpressure - there is a fine line between optimal, too little and too much. I agree that Honda got their numbers right on sizing, flow capacity and resonance. Which is certainly why the Amuse system is going to be your best bet, if you got the duckets. The rest (cept Mugen) is purely a sound perference - you wont see squat on the dyno.

I'd love to the gains on the Spoon carbon fiber drive shaft w/ their flywheel. If I remember right, rotational mass savings is 3x the actual weight savings and unsprung is 7x.

I have actually dynoed my car with the exhaust (only behind the cat) off and the car lost about 1-2 hp on the dyno. I know that those gains (or losses in this case) are minimal enough that it could be attributed to the innaccuracies of the dyno, but I think you get the idea.

Hey there, I just thought I'd point you to some really really in depth articles on exhaust tuning. The articles are about intake and exhaust on a rotary engine, but everything from the header back to the cans is identical to your standard boinger. In particular you should read up on the pressure waves, as OEM exhausts are tuned to take advantage of pressure waves, and changing the length/volume of an exhaust system can have detrimental effects on HP/torque.
