Rust on the control arm
I ended up buying a left front lower control arm from a salvage yard that I don't need. My local Honda dealer stepped up and fixed my suspension under warranty (the car had been damaged before I owned it). In any case, I've got this a-arm that I don't need. I'm getting ready to sell it, but I want to be accurate about the description. So, there is a little layer of rust on the inside of all the shafts or mounting holes where the various bolts and ball joint stick through the arm. Not very much, but enough that it got me thinking that it might be worth taking a dremel tool to.
So, what should I do, sell it as is, believing that it is perfectly serviceable? sell it with the warning that a little light machining is necessary? fix it myself and sell it? hang it on the wall as decoration?
Thanks!

Light surface rust on bare metal areas in normal for a used part. If the car the arm came off was in the north, it may have a good coating of surface rust where the paint used to be.
Sell the part as used and give a pic so there isn't any question.

Better not to "machine" it.
Those are holes with tolerances.
You could also hang it on your wall and tell a great story you bend it at the track overtaking a Porsche @ 140 mph, and he pushed you into the grass but you managed to stay ahead but ended up with a slightly bend A-arm
