I can't imagine that the rust is on anything internal, which suggests you should be fine. That's where all the action is anyway...

So the bling wins. I did sold the HKS standard wastegate because it rusted but there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. Tial 35mm boost spiked on me going high boost.

If you were getting boost spike with a Tial it was because the wastegate you were using wasn't big enough for the application. Delta Gates are on the bottom... Tial is on the top, everything else is just in between.

Once again, which Tial you are referring to?
Tial 46mm is nice but 40mm is enough already. Tial 35mm is just regular, my opinion HkS standard is better than Tial 35mm.
I wouldn't say Tial is on top, there is better wastegate out there. Price wise I agree, Tial is on top.

The tials base material that bolts to the manifold and dumptube is made of 713C Inconel. This is an excellent alloy that has a high nickel content. This metal is extremely resiliant to weathering and extreme heat and is what actual turbines are made out of. HKS units are excellent however and great for our cars just like the tials. Turbonetics deltagate's inner material is made of some sort of cheap material that breaks down after 1 year of use. We experimented with an HKS unit and Tial 35mm/40mm none of them overboosted and all performed flawlessly

So if both HKS and Tial performs great and HKS rusts and Tial doesn't (I'm assuming it doesn't from the responses) why choose HKS over Tial?

It's individual preference. If you don't need 40mm WG, then just buy the Tial 35mm. I never tried Tial 40mm so I can't give a impression on them compare to HKS standard WG.
