S2000 compression test results
Hey everyone I may be picking up a S2K this weekend.
I did a PPI and the compression test results came back
Cylinder. 1. 2. 3. 4
Result. 205 200 205 205
Now my research has seemed to show that 240 should be the goal. Should I be concerned with these low figures or instead just think that maybe the gauge reads low and instead be glad all the cylinders are even?
Thanks

Was the engine warm? Did you hold the throttle wide open?
I just did my compression test on my '01 with 136k miles. Got 224-224-223-224. Engine was warm and throttle wide open.
Biggest thing to worry about is consistency. Yours are well within spec of each other. My guess is engine was not warm or low reading gauge or something.
