yes you will need to allign the clutch.

Take the trans bolts out, pull it off, pull the clutch, put it in well aligned, and put the gearbox back on.

If you dont know how to do any of these things beware as the swap itself will be much more difficult

If the clutch is on the engine from removal, there's nothing to align.

The engine/trans assy will not fit in the car, unless the front subframe is removed.

Your clutch is on the old motor correct? If so, you will need to put the clutch on the new engine which WILL require you to use the tool. I think Napa *may* have the tool. I know when I was searching for one, thats what someone told me.

And as billman said, you will have to put the clutch in, then put the motor in the car, then drop the crossmember, and then attach the tranny to the engine.

It won't go in assembled from the hood opening, Unless you have the car 2 feet off the ground and can crane the engine and trans assembly over the car and hold them at a 45 degree angle.... Or you remove the subframe as Billman stated.

Pretty much won't go in.

Tried it, not worth the hassle, and can be done faster the normal way
