Hi guys,

what do you mean by:”this cam happen with an aftermarket ecu”?

my haltech elite 1500 freshly installed is showing me a sync error above 7000rpm and the engine is100% stock and never opened by me after buying the car. It used to run perfect on stock ecu.

I’m getting mad trying to fix this! My car is a 2001 Ap1 with stock F20C

thanks in advance

I have also read of cars running crappy with the cam timing off. This cam happen with an aftermarket ecu, but supposedly the stock ecu will not let it run out of time.

I'd love to put the myths to rest.

Does it run correctly if you switch back to stock ecu?
