Hello there, i was wondering if any of yall know whether you can use a electronic steering rack off a 2004 and up on a 2002 model. Thank you. Really need to find this out ASAP! My steering rack went out and in need of one

well damnn lol, so sorry...

 

2000-2005 should be interchangeable. 2006± won't work because they have different (vsa?) sensors

You may need some other small parts in addition to the steering rack, I'm not sure

 

Well i cant find no 2000-03 steering racks on ebay used... i found some 04-05 models. And i literally cant find one to save my life for a 02. So i was hoping i wouldnt have to spend a arm and a leg for a 00-03 remanufactured and i could just get the used 04 or 05 one on ebay.

After doing a quick Google search, I am lead to believe that the steering rack from 2000-2007 is all the same.

 

Thats what im thinking but i wanted to make sure first with some of the pros on here.
