S2000 transmission Issues
Hello Forums. I have few questions, Please someone help me on this matter.
1 year ago I changed my clutch that I bought from Ebay it was Exedy clutch , Changed pilot bearing Throw-out bearing, clutch disk, Resurfaced flywheel and changed pressure plate all came in Exedy kit, however when I did changed it I never greased Throw-Out bearing,( I know I'm idiot) it was my first Clutch Job,)
8 months later I started hearing noise coming from shifter location. When press clutch down it disappears so I assume it is Throw out bearing) Also when that noise started appearing my Car started to jerk a lot when changed gears, Even Now strange thing is that even after I changed between gears I'm already in gear and I fully let go of the clutch pedal, I get Jerk few seconds later. It even jerks between shifts if someone drove with me You would of thought its my fist time driving thats how bad it jerks
Recently I changed my transmission Oil Again after 1 year last time I changed it. Fluid was really clean ( I used Honda MTF Oil on transmission ) and changed my diff oil again ( Used Royal Purple) it was also clean ( purple color as Royal Purple is)
Recently I stated hearing new Noise it seems to be coming from rear end it happens when I get out of the gear and just decelerate to very slow speed I can hear whining in the back ( differential? That's why I changed Diff oil again to see if its black or has a lot of metal shavings in Magnet bolt, I did not )
My real question is I'm thinking to change my transmission along with clutch kit because I assume transmission is going bad ( reason I think that way is ) example If I drive my car lets say 30 MPH in 3rd gear then I press on clutch and put it in first and don't let go of the clutch I can Hear crazy whining in first gear. Also my 4th gear whines little bit, On top of this it is hard to get in to first gear and reverse sometimes ( there are no leaks in both slave and master cylinders)
Any suggestions would be appreciated I have until this Friday to get used transmission ( I already bought New Exedy clutch kit, and new Fork) Exedy kit came from gripforce (ebay seller) and fork came from Majestic Honda. Also any one knows if Exedy throw out bearing any good? I dont want to have rattle noise again year later.
Thanks guys for your input in advance. And I'm sorry for long post.

I wouldn't use anything that comes in that kit.
Many problems are reported with them here.
Putting the car in first at 30mph is a good way to fry the synchro. The whining noise you here is over speed of the mainshaft which it will do in this case.
