my transmission suddenly has become noisy, sounds like internal problem but oil is clear........any ideas?

 

Oil? Do you mean you got underneath and checked the transmission fluid with your finger?

 

changed it, no leaks so it was full and fluid was clear with no indication of metal

 

Throwout bearing? Mine completely came apart and would make grinding noises and be very rough when pressing in the clutch pedal. When I swapped trans/clutch, the ball bearings fell out of the trans case as it had come unsealed. You might need to isolate this issue a bit more. When does it make noise? Under load or in certain gears? When engaging/disengaging the clutch?

 

it makes the noise when clutch is engaged and accelerating, complete clutch replacement including throwout bearing less than 5K miles ago so think I can rule that out.....

 

Did you use OEM parts for replacement? Nachi throwout bearing and FCC disc/pp.

I think a thorough description of the sounds being made would be good. So when clutch is engaged it makes a buzzing noise? Is it at all speeds and all gears? Is it in neutral as well? Changes with engine revs?
