Default s2k making a rattle noise

Hey s2ki my car seems to be making a rattle noise only when my rpms drop under 1000 rpms when I stop at stop signs or come to stops not all the time but it happens and it's annoying does anyone else have this problem? And if so how can I fix it...will this eventually harm the engine in any way? Thanks and any help would be appreciated...

Does it happen only when ac is on? Are your engine mounts OK?

Where does it SOUND like it's coming from? is it a metallic rattle or plastic on metal rattle?

I always have the ac on lol but when I don't I notice it does do it less and it only happens when I'm coming to a stop and the rpms drop to about I'm guessing like 600 rpms then it picks back up to idle which is 1000rpms and it's ok the car drives perfect with the exception of that. And I was thinking maybe the Mounts are worn the car has 133k on it.

I'm not sure the engine just does a rattle like if you were gunna stall then it just jumps back up to normal idle and it's perfect.

Clean your iacv. S2ks tend to do this when its relearning how to idle. It'll usually go away if you let it do its thing without revving it or anything.

I had idling issues so I did the ecu-idle-learn. If you cannot find the thread, I can post later with the link. It should be somewhere in the sticky.

Idle your car without any lights on, ac off, radio off and etc, until your radiator fan turns on and off three times. This will allow enough for your ecu to learn how to idle. I think it took about 5 minutes or so after the car was fully warmed up.

Check the heat shielding on your exhaust, they have been known to come loose.
