Default s2k not starting

about a month ago i got in to an accident in my s2000 a van hit me on the driver door causing me to lose control, and hit the sidewalk (also in the drivers side ), causing damage to the side of the car, the clutch pedal and wheel , after the accident the car was still running i turned it off. my car was towed and its been in my driveway since , now s2k does not start , everything electric works but when i hit the start button nothing happens the battery is new , do you have any ideas what might be wrong with my car ?

what about the clutch button under the clutch pedal? it knows when the clutch is pushed in so you can start the car. check that little switch, thats probably it.

which one would it be the Clutch Position switch or Clutch Interlock Switch? also do you know if there any sensors in the part where the damage is that might cause any problems for starting the car ?

try charging the battery. even new batteries can sit around a long time and lose charge.

Just push it with your finger, since you say the clutch pedal is damaged, its probably not hitting the switch properly, just do it with your hands then start the car.. By the give your fluids a quick check before running the car if its been sitting for a while, or possibly has leaked something out in the accident..

You could sell it for 3500-4000 with that condition and miles.
