It's the car from www.otcsupra.com and www-lr-racing.com

I bought it off Derek Wang last August. Since then I've added quite a bit to the car, including 1000cc injectors, AEM EMS, TM zero balanced crank pulley ( Mine nearly split in half... ), and maybe, just maybe, trading the T78 for a T88.

[QUOTE=Sideways,Aug 13 2004, 09:33 AM]To put out 400hp reliably you should build the bottom end to handle 600hp.

wow. i dont know what you are building your engine with but its not titanium.
you can fully build an f20 engine, with a turbo kit from full-race for around 11-12 thousand dollars.
full-race built an s2k for one of their customers, it made 517 whp on 93 octane via a t3/t67 turbo and 19 lbs of boost. the engine was sleeved, has rods, cp pistons, stock head and cams, full-race turbo kit and aem ems for tuning. it had about 4-5 hours of dyno tuning.
the guys at full-race claim it should make 650-700 whp on race gas , but ive yet to see that.
I thought 15-30 thousand was a bit too much myself

It does not cost 11-12k to build the motor and the full-race turbo kit. Full-race turbo kit and installation is $7000. I also can tell you that the bottom end in just PARTS costs over well over $3600. That does not include any head work. Plus the labor cost of the removing the engine, dismantling the engine, rebuilding it, putting it back inside the car. I was quoted over $5000 in just labor by one of full-race's coordinating companies to build the motor and put it inside the engine with the turbo kit. So $6000+$1500(AEM EMS)+$250(battery relocator)+ $390(Injectors)+$120(fuel pump)+$300(Steel Braided lines and AN fittings)+$7000(labor work...full race wont warrenty unless they do the work)+$500(initial tunning...will take more to get perfect)+$1400(clutch and flywheel to hold the power)+$3600(Bottom end parts...at least!)+$1000 3" quality exhaust system+at least $3000 in extra parts

The prices I gave will probably add upto a lot more as more things become needed...just for the full-race turbo kit and a motor built right. No drivetrain work, no gauges, nothing. I'm already at $25k with the above list.

The S2000 wouldn't be nearly as fun with a turbo, imo. I know that a turbo will have a better torque curve, but I'm running 350 rwhp and 11 psi. I think I have close to 280 rwhp at 6000 rpm.

We were talking about the S2K. If you want to get ur Supra then Ill get a 800fwhp Civic Lets stay on point,s2k. I also want to know if the Supra is a dyno Queen or have you raced it. A turbo is much better then a S/C if you want speed. Hey joe, where do you live? We can do the damm thing if you want. Then you might trade in the S/C. Sideways, have you ever ran your car or do you just know that you can dirve and shift well? I mean, to keep your car in VTEC wow you must really know how to drive Like I said before Ill race any S/C s2k that wants to run. If I loose Ill be the firs one on here to tell you that I lost.
Look Ill be at IMstar this weekend at MIR. If you want to watch Iam going to run, should be a 11.9 or better. I just hope the new diff will hold up. PM me if any one wants to go

Don't forget to post the timeslip!

Personally, I think the S2000 needs the supercharger. Why? Snappy response. Everything about the S2000 screams "snappy". I need to be able to hit the gas and have absolutely instant response.

Some like turbos, some like SCs, it doesn't need to get personal. I have both.
