hey guys,

I recently put in an OEM AP2 cat back (my s2 originally came with a single exhaust with straight pipe) and i found that the secondary O2 sensor that was on the catback had a female connector. On MY08 the connector on the wiring harness is also a female 4-pin connector....
I believe the catback came off of an '05 model.

so I bought a used uncut wiring harness off of a '05 model and found there were one Male 4-pin connector and one Female 4-pin connector. so my guess is from the 2005 to 2008, they changed the connectors from female to male respectively.

Can anyone confirm this ? anyone else has an 08 that has two female 4-pin connectors on their wiring harness (meaning the primary/secondary sens. connectors are male)?
I just want to make sure i'm not looking at the wrong connector or hope that my wiring harness connector is not missing/cut.

Secondly, can I just cut the connector from the '05 wiring harness (male) and attach it to my secondary O2 connector? i believe the connectors fit.
