Secondary O2 sensor stuck

make sure u use antisieze on the threads before install!!! makes it much easier next time to get out. dont use so much that it will melt all over the sensor, just coat the threads nicely

They make o2 senor specific sockets that go right on to the socket wrench. It is the safetest way to remove any o2 sensor

good tips, thanks guys. Don't plan on doing many more O2 sensor changes but I've got the 22mm handy now. I didn't go nuts when I re-intsalled the sensor but I did apply a bit of anti-seize to the threads, hopefully next time its easier. The head is a bit rounded off on two of the points but I think I'll be OK.

I checked O'Reilly's and Home Depot for the O2 sensor socket, neither of them had it. I heard stories about them flaring out though, so I may stick to the wrench.

just a 22 will be fine. you wont have room for that anyways if you ever have to change the primary. as jordanksartell mentioned just a tap it with a rubber mallet and it should break loose. i have never used wd40 or pb blaster eitheron my o2 sensors.
