I'd remove the decat from the car, and unplug the sensor, allowing you to remove both items at the same time.

Once it's on the deck, you can use a spanner and a hammer to remove the O2 sensor.

I couldnt remove mine from the cat, so i cut the wires, removed the cat. Then i used a blowtorch thingy, heated it up, and it eventually came undone.

Wasnt easy, but its do-able.

Already tried that. Used oil. Heating it up etc.not budging at all. Isn't there anywhere else apart from Honda that I can get one from? With the female clip?

This is puzzling me??? Can anyone confirm that the sensor that goes into the cat.that the end of it is a female or male connection? Cause.the 1st one I got from local motofactors had a male end. And now I've got a genuine Honda one with male end. But the one that came off my car had a female end? And obviously male and male won't connect???

This should hopefully clear things up.

There are 2 sensors.
1st 'primary' at the start of the CAT and 2nd 'secondary' at the end of the CAT.

In 'simple terms' the primary controls fuelling through feedback in real time if the AFR (air fuel ratio) is rich or lean and adjusts - so the mugen ECU definitely needs this or the car would run like a bag of crap.

The secondary in simple terms just checks if the CAT is working/is still there.

Lastly look up 'walker' o2 sensors by me and 'grittyshaker'

I dont know which one you need, but i think the secondary is female.
