Default Shifting into 3rd & 4th.

I'm wondering about shifting into third and fourth. I'm feeling a slight click when I upshift. Is this typical or should I check out the clutch assembly. Anyone else having this problem on the 2005?

the shifter by nature usually has a little "clicking" going on. the question is, is this DIFFERENT than what it was before?

i hope you don't skip shift.

A "slight click" is perfectly normal. If you pay attention, you'll probably feel that on every shift to one degree or anther.

The shift lever on the S2000 manipulates a set of shafts that, in turn, move the shift forks inside the transmission directly. Because of that direct connection between your hand and the internal components of the transmission, you're going to feel little bumps and clicks that you won't necessarily notice in other manual transmissioned cars.
