Should I do this?
I am at 37K miles and havent done my 30K service yet.....I know that it is important, but do they do anything besides check stuff and replace tranny and differential fluids? do they actually adjust my valves? i dont want to pay an arm and a leg for them to CHECK my fluids...and if it is important to have Honda do it...how much did you guys pay? thanks...
I think they also do spark plugs, eventhough most people had these done under the recall. If they are thorough, they will probably also grease and lube the moving parts in the drivetrain as recommended in the helm.
According to Honda owner link,
30,000 service should include the following :
Replace engine oil and filter.
Check tire inflation and condition.
Inspect driveshaft boots.
Replace air cleaner element.
Check parking brake adjustment.
Replace rear differential fluid.
Lubricate all locks, latches, and hinges with multi-purpose grease.
Inspect brake hoses and lines (including ABS).
Check all fluid levels, condition of fluids, and check for leaks.
Inspect exhaust system.
Inspect fuel lines and connections.
Check all lights.
Inspect the underbody.
