Probably inner CV buckets. At what milage was the car lowered?

If it is the CV buckets, the fix is very cheap if you can do the work yourself. You just swap the driver side bucket for the passenger side and vis versa.

^ I was thinking the same.

Hard to say with that info, can you be a little more descriptive about it, and what you have to do to make it go away?

there is 50 K iles on it now
work was carried out in japan so i cant tell when it was lowered

its basically not when you drop down a gear,
its when your pulling from lower revs it does not really matter what gear your in and its only on Hard acceleration
i'm gonna get underneath it in the next few weeks and i'll let you guys know
if anyone else thinks of anything please let me know !!
Thanks

ps what is an MY s2000???

MY = Model Year...so MY00 or MY2000 is a '00 or 2000 S2000.

i understand yes model year
ya 1999 is available in europe and japan
s 2000s are rare over here in eire insurance is a killer on em its in the highest rating on a scale of 1-20

a ferrari f430 is in the same group!!!

i assume its because s2000 is not aparticularly safe car
