Default Single Valve Spring vs Dual Valve Spring

Can't really find any info on the differences in terms of power and reliability between a single valve spring vs a dual valve spring. Anyone know the difference besides 1 spring vs 2?

Default Best Street and Rough Back Road Shocks

I'm a bit lost in this conversation. The Ohlins tech I talked w August 2021 told me to buy stock Honda shocks if I was rarely tracking my car. Even after I told him wanted it to stick, handle on scruffy, tight Ohio back roads yet be a fairly comfortable driver.

Too much to ask, even with Penskes or the better Ohlins (which the tech never acknowledged were an option)?

Who, what shop can help me select spring rates as the 2300 dollar Ohlins are 1.5X to 2X the spring rates of stock S2000 shocks and the tech offered no options. (This guy works at their only US shop, one of the Carolinas.)

Thanks,

Mark

I'm also lost. Are you trying to put shock springs on your valves or valve-springs on your shocks?

there is a lot more than springrate to compare. The magic happens in the damper.
