Slight chirping or belt sound after hot
Hi all,
2000 s2000 - bone stock
After a track day or even a spirited driving day my car has an intermittent high pitch belt squeal (very quiet though) or what sounds like a chirp when sitting at idle. Again, its intermittent and will only happen when hot.
Any clues as to what this could be?

Only one belt under there. When was yours changed? 3 minute job.

Possibly one of the pulley bearings.

Reproduce noise. Temporarily remove belt, see if noise remains.
If noise is gone, inspect belt and pulleys.
If noise remains, rule out belt and pulleys and move on to next possibility.
