Default Slight "Click" at Launch

OK, first, I apologize for the old school star wars allusion.

Down to business.

During normal acceleration from a standstill, I am hearing a slight click from the rear of the car as it first begins to move. Almost as if something was stuck, and it breaks free as the wheels start to move.

I have no clue if this is coming from the dif, a part of the axle, or wheel/brake area.
My first guess would be the dif I suppose.

- MY01 with 45k mi
- happens in both first gear and reverese
- when I say "normal" acceleration, I mean "normal." (not launching hard)

I apologize if this has been addressed before, or if it is a somewhat common occurrence

If anyone has any ideas let me know.

I think I'll need a bigger torque wrench!

I'll give this a shot this weekend.

You will need a bigger torque wrench. I think the spec is 200 lbs, or something close to that.

It was the main reason I brought it in to get it done (which I HATE to do). Better than buying a monster torque wrench for a one-time thing.

That should do it though. This issue is actually quite common.
