Well, you're not the only one worrying. I just picked up a new '06 (my 3rd S2K) and with about 600 miles on it, I'm hearing what sounds like a noticable diff whine between 55 and 60 MPH. It mostly kicks in when you give it some throttle, and isn't present in any other speed range.

I never noticed this in my other two S2K's, an AP 1 and an AP2. My previous AP2 had some slight gear whines from the tranny that I never noticed in my MY02. But I never heard any diff noises before.

I'm a little torn on whether to bother having Honda check it out at this point.
