Today i took my S out for lunch, temp was arount 75 and humid. I did punch it once just to get out some work anger out... anyways when I went to get into the car after parking it, it struggled to turn very weak crank. Once i got to my jobs parking lot I tried turning it on 3 times and nothing... the battery was really hot along with the entire engine bay, naturally. I let it cool down for about an hour and it turned on just fine. Has anyone had these symptoms? i searched and people have had different problems like starter, battery or alternator but i dint have dim lights when this happened or any kindof battery lag. i also read that the wires to the battery can get cooked up because its close to the exhaust manifold, Im full N/A no turbo or SC. just bolt on headers and intake.


I am missing the tie down to the battery but doubt that would cause any issues
