Unhappy Small brake vibration

My car has 17k miles on it and I'm having a small vibration from the front (i think) when stopping at low speeds. When I'm slowing down at higher speeds there really isn't a problem. Would the pads be causing this? The car is going in for service later this week, but I'd really like some advice before going in. Thanks.

vibration is usually a warped rotor. not that expensive unless you have some crazy aftermarket parts. A good way to prevent warped rotors is allowing them to reach normal driving(operating) temperatures before slamming on them.. not saying you did this, but you know.....
