Default Smog check with Spoon exhaust

Has anyone in Cali passed the smog test with the Spoon exhaust?

Just the exhaust or headers? Some have failed because there engines were not warmed up using aftermarket headers. Just the exhaust will be no problem.

Also my check engine light keeps turning on. I reseted the ECU three times now.

I just had my Spoon N1 installed, no CEL here. If you don't take out the cat and use the straight pipe, there is no reason you should fail emissions.

this might be a stupid question, but knowing that the spoon exhaust is "loud," is it carb legal? I'm assuming its not.

carb doesn't affect the muffler, as they don't impact the emissions.

Street legal is what you're looking for. I do not believe they will meet noise level requirements. California is something like 91 dB maximum ... I think that number is wrong but I've seen it posted on the boards.
