I would be willing to bet the Megan is better than the DC header.
I would try and get the J's, Mugen 2.2l, or tracy sports for performance and weight reduction. If you want the ultimate header talk to Hytech
they cost more than the JDM ones, but make more power

I don't know if it will lose power, but I wouldn't expect it to gain power. If you want to save some money compared to the expensive jdm headers, buy one from ricks2k.com.. its on sale for $699 right now and its proven to give gains.
