Default Soft Top Question...

So this morning I was dropping the top in my garage...and all I heard this loud cracking noise...I raised the top back up and inspected the top...and a rip/tear had formed on my vinyl back windshield, shaped like a 'T' from bottom to top...I'm outta warranty, and I was wondering if I should take this up to Honda...because seems like a defected material than a wear issue. Anyone have this problem or any sort of problem with the top and taken it up with a dealer or Honda themself and gotten any results?

I took mine to Honda. I was just a hundred miles over Hondacare coverage but still had two other warrenty packages and the result I got was.. a $650.00+ dollar estimate. Honda customer service was even worse. The guy on the other end of the phone was a total asshole and told me I would have to let the dealership handle it. I know some poeple have had good luck with having them repaired but not me.

just buy a glass on and do a conversion. Mine was slashed so i bought one for $350 bucks. But if you dont have the time or your not mechanically inclined i wouldnt recommend it. Good luck.
