I fixed my wind noise by slipping a small vacumn hose over the latches instead of messing with the striker plates. Works pretty well for me so far.

because the washers are acting as a spacer to make the plate sit lower, thus pulling the top down farther

trust me...it works...maybe i just need to do it again and take pictures

my windnoise was so bad i couldnt stand to drive with the soft top up, i couldnt even hear my radio. now i have ZERO windnoise

updateut the hardtop back on, it doesnt affect how the hardtop fits at all, unless maybe if you had windnoise with iit, im sure this would fix that too

Nice solution, but did you ever just try adjusting your hardtop with Honda's directions? Mine made noise when I first out it on until I adjusted it.
